Hamman Rolls Royce Phantom and Drophead Coupe

Tuners are leaving no stone unturned these harsh economic times in their pursuit to make a buck or two. And what better candidates for some extra cash than the Rolls Royce Phantom limo and its convertible offspring, the Phantom Drophead Coupe. Though Hamann Motorsports has yet to disclose something official, these photos made their way into the net revealing the two cars. Aside from the massive 23-inch alloy wheels that are available in various designs, we didn’t any other exterior changes on the Phantoms. A photograph of the interior though reveals that the German tuner has developed a new three spoke sport steering wheel for both models.

It is also said, but not verified, that Hamann Motorsport’s Phantom package also includes an engine kit that boosts the 6.75-liter V12′s output from 460HP to 535HP and maximum torque from 720Nm to 835Nm (615-lbs/ft). Along with the removal of the speed limiter, it is claimed that both Phantoms reach a top speed of 300km/h or 187 mph.

Hamann SLR Volcano reworked of Mercedes McLaren SLR supercar.Indeed a very good touch!I’m carzy to get one!With 5.4-liters of supercharged displacement to work with, Hamann turned up the boost with a new pulley, custom exhaust manifolds and tuned ECU to bring output up to 700 hp and 612 lb.-ft. of torque – an increase of 74 hp and 37 lb.-ft., respectively. In order to keep temps in check, Hamann added an additional water pump, and to make better use of the extra grunt, fiddled with the transmission’s control unit. The 0-60 time is down to 3.6 seconds and top speed is now nine mph faster than the standard SLR and seven mph faster than the 722 edition.

Carbon fiber pieces replace the front and rear wings and the side skirts, while a new hood, diffuser and front spoiler all do there best to keep things as slippery as possible under speed. EDITION RACE 21-inches wheels are fitted at all four corners and wrapped in 255/30 (front) and 345/25 (rear) rubber. In addition to two color choices – aluminum/chrome or white/matte – owners can choose from new aluminum pedals, door sills and headrests emblazoned with Hamann logos, along with carbon fiber and Alcantara trim for the dash, center console, steering wheel and sun visors.

630hp Porsche 911 Turbo Based Hamann Stallion

Until the launch of the 530hp GT2, the Porsche 911 Turbo was the most powerful 911 on the market with 480hp but the goodfellas at Hamann have set out to put the Turbo model back in its place at the top of the scale with the Hamann Stallion boasting a total power output of 630hp.

The Hamann engineers set to work on the 3.6-liter Biturbo engine with a new stainless steel exhaust system with metal catalytic converters, sports air strainer and new motor managementm but the cream of the crop is the two larger variable nozzle turbochargers(VNC).

Hamann have thrown the book at the aerodynamic aspects of the vehicle for the ultimate performance in which the roofline has been been expensively lowered with the pillars and windows reduced by up to 8cm. Additional road grip is further enhanced with the road hugging body kit featuring the unmissable huge rear wing and 20inch three-part aluminium wheels.

The performance upgrades result in an impressive 0-60mph time of 3.3seconds knocking sixth tenths of a second off the time of the regular model, maximum speed now stands at 359km/h. It will be interesting what Hamann can do with this machine once Porsche’s new double-clutch PDK system enters the Turbo.
